My friend got one for his 12 birthday I wanted one really bad so I asked my parents and they said wait and see how his does if it breaks then no but if it is durable and goo's I could possible get one so it's Ben about 4 weeks and then I asked again and I got mine of of Amazon along with 6 battires I love it.it is one of the best beginner drones ever! I would definitely get it but just get more battires it's a gift that will be hard to beat.

I got this for my son, right out of the box its ready to go. Just need to charge everything and map each switch out to what it does and controls. Within 10 batteries id say he was consistently flying for 2 min or so before having to reset the drone or the goggles on his face. Has a good battery life depending on how hard you push it for 1s though, its got plenty of power! Was getting anywhere from 5 min flight on a slow cruise to around 3 min maybe 3:30 if you push it down to 3.2. I am already in the hobby and fly mainly 5in HD quads, but this is smooth as butter even outside on a nice calm day its just a pusher that keeps pushing! Great gift idea for anyone that's expressed interest into flying anything! GREAT PRICE POINT and GOOD QUALITY! i dig that the 1s batteries are pretty cheap if you pick up a big pack of them.
Possible only con on these is the PH2.0 battery connector, maybe for 1s its fine no problem but a XT30 connection "is heavy" has a better current draw.
Highly recommended to any first timer!

This was my first ever drone. I am entering the hobby for the first time, and I'm very happy with this kit. Purchase 5 more batteries to fill up your charger, and you have about 20-30 minutes of flight time depending on how hard you push it. I've progressed through the flight modes and enjoy zooming in manual/acro mode. The drone can flip and roll with ease.
The first thing I will upgrade in the kit will be goggles, but plan to still use the original screen as a secondary display. The video signal reception needs a tune but is very capable while learning. Overall 10/10 would buy again.
