EMAX would like to introduce our new 1606 motor. Quadcopter that utilize 3-4 inch props always struggle as the old motor choices were limited to 14xx series motors, or even heavy 22xx series motors. With the 1606 this bridges the gap providing a powerful motor in a small package to get the correct AUW for 3-4 inch quadcopters. This is also great for frames that are using more HD style components like the RunCam split to carry the extra payload. Can you say smooth controlled HD footage, now its possible with the RS1606.

The motors run a little hotter than I care for. I wonder how long they will hold up with that heat. When I first got it, I flew my 3â with 1500mAh 4S. These motors will do it without question.. currently use by 850mAh 4S to tune, Going to try a smaller battery. Someone on Emax FB page told me they were for 3â. But the description clearly states 3-4â. ? If I canât get them cooler. Going to replace them with a 1408 motor. Just being honest.
