EMAX PAGODA II Antenna by Maarten Baert (2pcs) SMA

(6 reviews) Write a Review

Introducing the Emax “Pagoda II” by design by Maarten Baert. This thoughtfully designed circular polarized antenna utilizes a 3 tiered 1 oz copper PCBs to replace the typically fragile wire elements. The antenna only weighs 8 gm and will include the optional heavy duty polyolefin heat shrink to help protect PCB from damage. The Pagoda II has a very good axial ratio measurement <1.3 and SWR of 1.2.
It will work great as either TX or RX antenna and for best performance we recommend using it as matched set. They will be sold in a set of 2 antennas with the option for Stubby at 50mm and Standard 85mm lengths. Initial sets will be RHCP but LHCP sets will soon follow.

Center frequency: 5.8 GHz
Bandwidth: 500 MHz (5.55 – 6.05 GHz)
Matching: S11 < -20 dB, VSWR < 1.22 (at center frequency)
Axial ratio: < 1.3
Radiation efficiency: 95%
SMA connector
Weight 8 gm

To abide by Maarten Baert's design specs, we used genuine FR4 PCB material at 1.0mm thickness and 35 µm (1 oz) of copper (Not the regular 1.6mm thickness). Since the antenna was designed around the FR4 material, the thickness is absolutely crucial for efficient functionality.

This is the best value antennas on the market! The pagoda style antennas also have great signal overage. This is my go to!

Bought 3 sets of the LHCP. This is my first time using LHCP antennas. I'm very impressed. I am getting much clearer video and longer range. Very well built, I have only broke 1 so far, but was totally my fault and nothing with the quality of the Pagoda. I will be using these from here on out, unless Emax comes out with a improved design. For the price, you can't beat it. I have other way higher priced antennas that are not near as good as these.

Solid Antenna for the money! Not a lot of durability.

Preforms very well! A little disappointed in durability, but for the money who could complain. Preforms like the TBS Triumph, but without the cost.

    Best Pagoda on the market

I heard about the Emax Pagoda from The FPVShow. It seemed to good to be true. An inexpensive video antenna, lightweight, durable, and excellent video reception. I can't say enough how great these have performed. They seem reliable and resilient. I'll be buying more. Thanks for the heads up Bluegrass Multirotor (Blue), GapIt, and DirtDiver.
