The Emax Avan Long Range propeller 6x3.8x2 was designed to maximize range of flight.AAvan Long Range is optimize to operate at 50 mph with a low current consumption at that speed to maximize range. Designed to be used on a 2207 1900kv motor to maximize range on 4s and allowing aggressive flying with 5s.  A true constant 3.8" pitch throughout the blade gives a linear control feeling across the throttle band while still achieving high speeds. An aggressive and thick chord at the root of the blade helps maximize thrust and efficiency at the designed speed. This thicker chord also increases durability and increases the natural frequency of the blade which in turn minimizes vibrations in the quad. This will allow jello free footage. With a special PC blend the Avan Long Range weighs 4.6 grams. Most of the weight is centralized near the hub creating a low moment of inertia of 14.4 grams*square centimeter which in turn makes a very responsive prop. Best match for the Emax LS2207 1900kv motor on 4s.
The Avan Long Range propeller was designed from the ground up starting from design constraints such as RPM, air speed, and required thrust. From these constraints aerodynamic models were built to predict performance and to design the blade shape. Highly cambered airfoils were used to achieve high lift coefficients at high angles of attack prolonging stall. This allows for a higher blade angle while still remaining efficient. The cambered airfoils also allow a greater flight envelope making for great low end responsiveness while still being able to achieve high speeds.
A special Polycarbonate blend is used to achieve high durability. This material is incredibly tough and ductile to resist fracture in high impact crashes. A thick blade root was designed to further increase this durability. Our injection mold process is optimized to reduce bubbles in the plastic to increase the strength of the propeller and to maintain superb balance.

Love these props! Amazing feel! Smooth, responsive and nice thrust! I find these to be very efficient for my setup. I haven't noticed any jello....so that's a plus!

Now I’m not super experienced but I’ve tried 3 other props for my 6” rig built for cruising and long range and these I must say are pretty darn awesome. Smooth yet with plenty of power. They seem pretty efficient, tho I am still testing that. But so far so good. I think these might be a winner for me. Understand that everybody’s setup is different so what might work for me maybe different for you. Glad I picked a few of these up.
